About Wounded No More

Wounded No More is a faith based, 501c3 non-profit organization, that is focused on bringing healing and restoration to the mind, body, spirit, and community. We recognize that there is a vital intersection between spiritual and secular needs that is commonly overlooked in communities as well as within the church. We provide services and training at that point of intersection, training others to be a positive and transformational force in their cities and communities, serving the local community in as many ways as possible, and teaching others to carry out the same mission. We incorporate the social elements of the gospel by working to restore communities that have suffered through generational cycles of poverty, marginalization, addiction, and homelessness—currently focused in Southeast Washington D.C. (Anacostia), the supernatural elements of the gospel to bring people healing, freedom, and into encounters with Jesus, and the holiness elements of the gospel teaching people about the value of the principles of God’s kingdom so we can influence the world, instead of the world influencing us. Much of what we do involves working outside of a traditional church construct because we believe in a church without walls that reaches into every walk of life, and every community to passionately share the love God has for all His creation. We primarily minister to the impoverished and underserved residents of Southeast Washington D.C.’s Ward 8 and also teach in churches and organizations around the nation.
